Mr Josh Thomas

Josh has joined KMAT as Chief Finance Officer and has 12 years’ experience as an accountant working in public sector finance, mainly in the NHS but in the last 3 years at another MAT in a senior leadership role. He has been a qualified CIMA accountant since 2018 and is used to working in challenging financial environments.

Josh takes the time to understand organisations and build relationships with key members of staff to understanding the operations of the school. This helps to understand the financial position and target areas of efficiency whilst keeping performance high. Josh encourages progression and development and has experience in improving financial reporting, systems, processes, and structures.

In his spare time, Josh plays golf, video games, enjoys travelling and goes to pub quizzes.
